Women are considered to be more fashionable than men, which is something that men would probably be happy to concede as being true. However, women are thought be negatively excessive in their fashion focus. Women like accessories and looking good. In India, it's traditional to wear Saris and suits and all.
Women here are no less fashionable than women in any other country. We wear everything fashionable and good from tops to capris, to hair combs and earrings. We wear diamonds and all kinds of Jewellery. Gold is exceptionally famous in India, women wear gold bracelets, necklaces, bangles etc made from gold. We have a lot of cosmetic industries in India. India's feminine beauty can be justified by the famous and exceptionally pretty actresses of The Indian cinema, affectionately known as Bollywood. Bollywood makes more movies than Hollywood even and the beauties starred in them are rare. I'd just like to say in the end that, fashion is not bad, Fashion is not bad in India and India is not bad in fashion. |

My favourite shoes are sneakers, hands down. You can keep your high heels, hiking boots, wellies, doc martins, flats, you name it. Sneakers are where its at, the all-terrain vehicles of the shoe world: they're appropriate for just about anywhere. You can wear sneakers walking around town, shopping for groceries, or in your yard and you won't look out of place. You can drive in them, you can run in them, you could probably swim in them, and you can even go "off-road" into mud and puddles to no ill effect - just rinse them off with the garden hose and put them over a heating vent to dry. Sneakers occupy that same special place as blue jeans do in the clothing world: they go with pretty much anything. Even better, sneakers can be adapted to many occasions. Make them brown and add some treads and you could hike in them make them black and add some sparkle and you could wear them to a dinner add some reflective, breathable material and you can run a marathon. Not only versatile, but sneakers also protect your feet. You can't feel every pebble through the souls, like in flats you don't have to worry about breaking your ankles, like in heels they aren't heavy and clunky, like boots. In terms of shoes, there's no question: sneakers are my favourite. Slide them on, lace them up and you're ready to go. |

By far my favorite fashion item is my pair of black Aldo shoes, and I have a huge love for accessories - anything from hair accessories to shawls you can find in my wardrobe! I can remember when my friend took me to the mall to go shopping. I had just received an amount of money that was unexpected, and I was so happy about that. I decided that I was going to use that money to go out and buy myself a pair of shoes. I went with my friend to the store called Aldo’s, and I looked around to see what I liked. I saw my boots, and it was like falling in love, I thought that the design was awesome, apart from the design, they were on sale, and the sale was great. I bought the boots, and I wore them to work the very next day, because they were so great. My coworkers even commented on my boots, and I was so proud. I bought my boots over five years ago, but I still wear them in the winter from time to time, because they still fit, and they still look great. My black Aldo boots are definitely my favorite fashion item. |

My friend recently bought this beautiful Forever Unique dress, and we got onto the subject of fashion. I like to knit and as I knitter I often made items for myself as well as for other people. Recently I made myself a scarf. It was a simple scarf, easy and fast to make. I didn't think is was a big deal. I liked the result and so I wore it to work. I was pleasently surprised when one of my co-workers commented on it. She asked me where I bought the beautiful scarf, and when I told her I made it her eyes widened in surprise. The scarf is made from a man made yarn that is usually used with a knitting machine, and also used to make ladies sweaters. Since I no longer have my knitting machine, having sold it years ago, I am left with all these cones of yarn. I had been wondering what to do with the yarn. I didn't want to sell it thinking that I may want it in the future: sure enough I finally found use for it. I chose a cone of yarn that is toupe in color, it has a slight sheet to it. When I finished the scarf I added a fringe, but instead of putting the fringe on the ends, I added it to the whole lenght of one side of the scarf. Now when I put the scarf on and wrap it loosly around my neck I have the fringe that circles my neck giving me an almost cocoon like feel. |
