Vivian had shifted into a new city for work and was dealing with the changes that come along with it. He was settling into his new lifestyle and routine. He had a new cell phone for work. He was very busy when at work. Recently Vivian encountered blank calls on his work cell phone from a particular phone number. He thought these calls would stop in some time but nothing like that happened. On the contrary they increased day by day. It was beginning to irritate him and disturb him during important meetings. Finally he called up the telecom customer service assistant and asked him, how do I block a phone number? The customer representative enquired certain details and asked Vivian to give him the number that he received the blank calls from. He assured Vivian that the necessary measures will be taken with immediate effect. As told by the customer service agent, the phone number was blocked. Had Vivian not made the complaint, he would still be bothered by the blank calls. Now he could focus on work more effectively. |

Some economy are badly injured that they become so dependents on its attackers and people bringing problems into the economy. And the last thing that economy can bear is a restructuring that would upset the status quo. The battle must begin from somewhere and sometime even if it means totally crippling activities for a while then picking up back. An halt to unethical practice is most important to move an economy forward, separating politics from business is also very vital. If only Politicians will stop folding their arms and do something instead they are thinking to themselves, how do I wipe my blackberry curve or how do I get the latest car in town? There is so much rot in the system that it might take more time to clean it off the slates. Delaying the gain of reforms is irrelevant if it is due to emphasis on pains among other things. This needs much more than government reforms to position an economy for gains. Jobs have been lost but they will even be more if there is a change in the economy. |

An easy to use manual needs to be created in a simple format that stays away from too much complexity. If you are a designer of a product manual you should start by selecting a language that can be universally understood at least by a majority of people. A manual is meant to ease one problem therefore in reading it gadget users should not be put through another challenge. The whole idea of using a proline manual is so that any problems can be rectified. While a gadget user is reading a manual chances are that he or she can be very frustrated. Bearing this in mind, a manual creator should get straight to the point on things that can be done to correct a given gadget problem. The choice of text should also stay away from complex words that will only confuse gadget users. As a manual creator you should use the simplest words that you can think of so that novice gadget users will not find it challenging to follow the instructions that have been put forward. |

Ben had learnt how to cook from his mother when he was barely fifteen. His friends made fun of him when they found him in the kitchen but that did not deter him from trying out the little he knew about cooking. Years down the line, he got a job at a shop selling steamers. Doing sales for the product proved to be very interesting for him as he had used some while he was growing up. His fellow colleagues could not understand how he could make such huge sales in a short period of time. After all, the ladies seemed to flock towards him whenever he was explaining something to them. His trick lay in telling them what they could be cooking in those kitchen steamers. He was so good at describing them that everyone wanted a piece of what was being sold. It was not long before his commissions saw him promoted to the senior sales manager. His work became to teach the other sales people how to love what they sold. His enthusiasm made them wonder what could be so exciting about the job. |
